The short answer
MOE's 2026 calendar has the year-end school holidays running from Saturday 21 November to Thursday 31 December. For the wet or scorching days, book a private room for a group of kids and their parents, then add an activity. Holiday weekdays still get weekday rates: White Pixies Studio is $40/hr Monday to Thursday and The Loft is $59/hr on a Monday. Four families sharing a 3 hour Monday at The Loft pay about $44 each. An adult stays with the kids throughout, because we rent the room, not childcare.
When are the 2026 year-end school holidays?
MOE's press release on school terms and holidays for 2026 sets the end-of-year break from Saturday 21 November to Thursday 31 December. That is six weeks to fill. Some of those days will be wet, and the dry ones can be too hot for the playground by noon.
Three dates cost more. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve fall on Thursdays this year and Christmas Day is a public holiday, so on all three The Loft is $119/hr and White Pixies Studio is $50/hr. AnyBirdie stays at $99/hr. Every other holiday weekday keeps the weekday rate.
Why book a room instead of heading to the mall?
Because for three hours the room is yours. The noise is your own, the games are not shared with strangers, and the parents get a sofa.
Outside food is allowed in all three rooms. The Loft also has a kitchen with an oven, cooker, kettle and fridge for warming up snacks.
Be clear on what this is: BGL rents rooms by the hour. We do not run a holiday camp or provide childcare, so an adult stays with the kids the whole time. If you need drop-off care while you work, book a school holiday programme (ActiveSG runs some) instead.

The Loft is the one for a big group of families: two floors, games for every age and an 85 inch TV for when everyone needs to flop in front of a film. With toddlers, keep one adult near the stairs.
AnyBirdie suits older kids and parents who want to play too. Clubs and balls are provided, and the screen shows how far and how fast every shot went, so first-timers pick it up quickly.
White Pixies Studio is the home of White Pixies Candle Studio. Its Kids Candle Decorating Workshop is for ages 6 and up and takes 30 to 45 minutes. Each child picks a scented candle base, decorates it with wax toppings and takes it home. The price per child falls as the group grows: $60 for 1 to 6 kids, $51 for 7 to 12, $42 for 13 to 30 and $39 above that. Kids 9 and up can do the Candle Painting Workshop instead.

How much does a holiday playdate cost per family?
The planner picks a room from the number of kids and the youngest age, then splits the bill between the families sharing it.

What should parents pack and know?
Socks. Shoes come off at The Loft's door, at a taped line by the entrance, and White Pixies Studio does not allow footwear inside either. Pack a pair per child.
The White Pixies rules. No alcohol, and no food on the sofa area. The toilets are in the building rather than inside the studio, so younger kids need an adult to walk them there. The Loft and AnyBirdie have their own.
A roll of trash bags. At The Loft, rubbish left unbagged is a $20 house charge and leftover food is another $15. Give the last 15 minutes to a clean-up and nobody gets billed.
Other families. This is the part that makes a weekday cheap. One family paying for The Loft on a Monday afternoon is a treat. Four or five families splitting the same three hours pay $35 to $44 each, and the kids get a proper crowd to play with.
